Terms and Conditions for FM Valeting Ltd to complete Car Detailing and Valeting Services

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of car detailing and valeting services ("Services") provided by FM Valeting Ltd, trading as FM Valeting Ltd ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") to you ("Customer," "you," or "your").

 

By using our Services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Services Provided

· Hand Wash: Wheel cleaning, wheel arches rinsed, foam pre-wash, two-bucket hand wash, rinse, towel dry, exterior dressed, tyres dressed.

· Package Valeting: As listed on our website.

· Ceramic Coating Details: As listed on our website.

· Additional Services: Any other services requested by the Customer and agreed upon by the Company, such as engine bay cleaning, headlight restoration, etc.

· SMART Repairs: These are subject to looking at the repair and supplying a costing first, SMART repairs are not body shop repairs and cannot be guaranteed to have a body shop finish, some repairs may not be able to be completed due to reasons out of our control, FM Valeting Ltd will make every effort to make an exact colour match but this cannot be guaranteed depending on vehicle panels being worked on.

 

3. Booking and Appointments

· Appointment Booking: Appointments can be booked via email, by phone, or in person. We will confirm your appointment via email or text message, and you will receive your time slot within 24 hours of your appointment.

· Cancellations: Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a 50% cancellation fee.

· Late Cancellations: If you notify us within 24 hours that you cannot make your time slot, we will make every effort to complete your service, but completing the full service may not be possible on the same day.

 

4. Pricing, Payment, Additional Fees.

· Pricing: Prices for our Services are listed on our website and are subject to change. We will confirm the total cost before starting the service

.· MATRIX Pricing: Prices are given after a inspection has been completed, you will be supplied with a inspection report along with some pricing options.

· Payment: MATRIX packages will require a deposit to be paid to confirm your booking slot. This will be sent via a deposit invoice confirming your booking with FM Valeting Ltd and is a non-refundable deposit (this is at FM Valeting Ltd discretion, if a MATRIX booking can be put into the cancelled slot, we may or may not be able to refund your deposit).

· Valeting packages can be paid via BACS, Credit/Debit cards or cash.

· Additional Fees: If the vehicle is heavily soiled (e.g. large amounts of pet hair, grime, make-up stains, dirt, vomit), or if the wrong service or car size was booked, we may request an additional fee to be paid by the customer based on our hourly rate or the next higher service level.

· Gift Vouchers: These can be purchased but must be paid before receiving the gift voucher, these can be used as a stand alone or in conjunction with a higher priced package, FM Valeting Ltd must be made aware on making a booking that a voucher is going to be used.

 

5. Customer Responsibilities

· Vehicle Condition: The Customer must disclose any pre-existing damage to the vehicle before the commencement of any services. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.

· Personal Belongings: While we will take all due care to protect your property, the Company is not responsible for any personal belongings left in the vehicle. Customers are advised to remove all personal items before the service.· Child seats: It is the responsibility of the customer to remove any child seats from the vehicle. The Company will not perform any removals or installations and cannot guarantee a full clean in and around the child seat area.

· For services provided at the Customer's location, it is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that adequate room and electricity outlets are available for our use if we cannot use our onboard generator for whatever reason. Additionally, the Customer must provide sufficient space for our team to work safely and efficiently. If the required outlets or space are unavailable, we reserve the right to refuse or reschedule the service. In such cases, the Customer may be liable for any travel costs or cancellation fees incurred. These provisions must be met to facilitate the smooth and effective completion of our detailing and valeting services.

 

6. Service Limitations

· Weather Conditions: Certain services may be impacted by adverse weather conditions. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments in such cases.

· Service Scope: We will perform the agreed-upon Services to the best of our ability. However, we do not guarantee the removal of all stains, scratches, or defects. We will inform the Customer in any such cases.

· Modifications: Any modifications or additional requests must be agreed upon by both parties and may incur additional charges.

 

7. Liability and Damage

· Vehicle Damage: The Company will exercise all due care and skill in the provision of Services. However, we are not liable for any pre-existing damage or damage that occurs due to the Customer's failure to disclose such damage.

· Accidents and Incidents: In the event of an accident or incident resulting in damage to the vehicle during service, we will inform the Customer immediately and take appropriate actions.

· By leaving your vehicle with FM Valeting Ltd, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless FM Valeting Ltd, its employees, and agents from all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from or related to any technical issues or damages that may occur to your vehicle while it is in our care. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from mechanical failures, electrical issues, or any other unforeseen circumstances. FM Valeting Ltd will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and security of your vehicle; however, we cannot be held responsible for any damages beyond our control.

8. Warranties and Guarantees

· Service Guarantee: We strive to provide high-quality services and guarantee your satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with the service, please inform us within 24 hours, and we will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns.

· Exclusions: Our guarantee does not cover issues arising from subsequent use, misuse, or neglect of the vehicle after the service is completed.

9.MATRIX Packages

· FM Valeting Ltd offer two MATRIX options, both options are subject to a full inspection report being completed and discussed with the customer, no MATRIX coating will be carried out without an inspection report being completed.

· We will make all reasonable efforts to care for your vehicle as it was our own, but will not accept any liability for any loss or damages beyond our control.

· Whist your vehicle is at FM Valeting Ltd Detailing Studio, your vehicle will be monitored by 24 hour recorded CCTV, when staff are not present, your vehicle will be locked, the studio will be locked and the site facilities will be double locked between the hours off 1800hrs and 0800hrs.

· Any damages noted after an inspection report preformed and agreed will be subject to further charges by FM Valeting Ltd.

· FM Valeting Ltd will to the best of our ability rectify all paintwork and interiors as noted on the inspection report, however, this cannot be guaranteed due to limitations in products being used to complete packages, although we will endeavour to complete the packages to the best of our ability.

 

10. Right of Refusal of Service

The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any Customer for any reason deemed appropriate at our sole discretion. This includes but is not limited to, situations where the vehicle's condition poses a safety risk, the Customer is abusive or threatening towards our staff, or there is a failure to comply with our Terms and Conditions. We also reserve the right to refuse service if the requested services exceed our capabilities or if previous service agreements have not been honoured. Any deposits paid in such cases will be refunded at the company's discretion.

 

11. Promotions

The Company may occasionally run promotions to attract or reward Customers. These may include:

· Gift Voucher Giveaways:- The Company will send the gift card to the Customer's email address within seven business days. If the voucher is manipulated of if FM Valeting Ltd detects fraudulent activity, we reserve the right to refuse the issuance of the gift voucher.

 

12. Privacy and Data Protection

· Data Collection: We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

· Use of Data: Your personal data will be used solely for the purpose of providing the Services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

· Photos and Videos: By engaging our services, customers grant FM Valeting Ltd explicit consent to capture photographs and videos of their vehicle for use on FM Valeting Ltd's social media platforms. Upon request, FM Valeting Ltd will take reasonable steps to remove personally identifiable information, including vehicle registration plates, from such media.

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

 

14. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms and Conditions.
